I hope she wins and wins easily. I look forward to the days we will be looking back on these times discussing corrupt politics and crazy immigration policy as something we can never ever let happen ag

Partly to blame then....no one should die or be raped by those animals but if its going to happen then let it happen to those who welcome them with open arms

the world is slowly waking up too the fact its been lied too and played, mainstream media is unreliable not to be trusted its far too tainted, the censoring of 4chan says it all,

35% is a lot more than FN or Le Pen got last time round so the direction of travel is still upwards, Austria came within a whisker of a so called 'far right' candidate, Wilders gained seats, the 5 Star movement maybe be the biggest party after the Italian election even Sweden has the same trends. It's in virtually every country.

The left has always understood the long game in politics, nationalists have to think the same way ;)

I thought as long as they polled more than UKIP then it's a victory for Labour ?

35% is a pretty decent showing seeing any voter who can be described as floating don't get to see much positive on those who the establishment don't want in power, plus all those who dropped out pulled their weight behind Macron, pretty much a media black out on them on social media which the world seems to revolve around these days.

On Twitter in French "Macron elected by 19.8 million French on 47 million subscribers (eligible voters?), only 42 percent of voters."

I think Le Pen got 11 million votes which is a lot more than UKIP has ever got but not a lot compared to the eligible voters, need to check this.

UKIP's high water mark was 3million votes in 2015, Le Pen got double that in the first round (a fairer comparison to our system IMO)

Interestingly turnout in both elections was very similar (around 65%)

Macaroon still has a lot of questions to answer

Ha ha yes he does!

In a way it might help the FN with him being in power, they get to sit on the sidelines and criticize everything he does, he is inheriting a very poor economy and a lot of problems as well so he is likely to be as unpopular as Holland after a couple of years unless he performs some kind of miracle.

I think UKIP got 4 million but still that is pretty poor especially since they never managed to capitalise on that and grow thanks to infighting and idiotic egotists.

UKIP would be better off ripping it up and creating a new party.
