Lovely clear sky, no breeze at all and BILLIONS of midges!!!! I only had time to walk the first half of this perm and the gardener had only just downed tools so there wasn't much about but I spotted a pair of ears in the longer grass so had a peek through the scope and there was Mr Coney with his back to me. I tried to squeak him to give me a side on but he wasn't playing ball so I sent a pellet whistling to the back of his head. 38 yards was the distance and on 4x mag it was a gnats bo#*ock of holdover. That was the only one I saw that presented itself tonight but I was itching to get out and test drive the new rifle. Atvb 14 Quote Link to post
