Silversnake 1,099
I will one day head to USA and I am extremely keen to see some running dogs on deer, coyote, jack rabbits and whatever else that can be run. I also would love to spend some quality time in some of your fine pistol and rifle ranges. I would need to spend a year minimum over there for any chance to do all the things I want to do. I am green with envy of your gun and hunting laws and I can't wait to get over there one day. Happy hunting wolfdog and this is a cool thread. If you ever find your way over to the south west, and the lure of Las Vegas wears off, I'm a couple of hours north. Just holler! Bring your Akubra though... gets a little sunny in the summer months! You are a good man Chris and I do plan to take up that offer one day, and if you can ever make it down under I am sure I can show you a thing or two you won't have seen before!

TOMO 26,838
Wish we had as many rabbits as y'all do though i wonder why rabbit populations didn't explode in the usa like they did in Australia? its not the same species,,,rabbits in oz are european rabbits braught from the uk an introduced,,same as N.Z,,,, north and south america have there own species of rabbit,,,difrent to our own,,,they look very similar,,the yanks call them cotton tails,,,theres another species as well in the swamps in the southern states,,they call not suprisingly swamp rabbits,,,big feckers they are,,,hare sized critters..... none of these to be confused with what the yanks call jack rabbits,,,wich are hares,,,and theres a few difrent sub species of those on the american continent although there are european rabbits in an area in chillie S,A where they were introduced..
