So now be have at least a breeding pair of Cougars, nar not having it.

The cat on the video is almost certainly a Bengal Cat........

I've owned a bengal cat and the video was not of a bengal ......
What about the Chausie Cat? They are the pet Cat that resembles a Cougar.
Chausie cats are very attractive beasts BUT

They don't look anything like a puma. They have some jungle cat genes from hybridised with domestic cats but to be honest they don't even really look like jungle cats very much.

To the untrained eye at a distance they could easily be mistaken for one.

Not just big cats we have roaming the countryside in the UK, we've got some big primates also. Managed to capture this image of a mountain gorilla in a secret location in the Scottish highlands just a

How long you been doin it and what got you into it? I bet you felt like you won the lottery when you finally caught some good images! Well done fella.

I,ve always fished in remote places and have had farmers and land owners warn me to be carefull as they have had either livestock killed or had seen large cats on there land have also always taken note of news paper reports and odd clips on the news so I just accepted they were here, then on a walk with the dogs in an area I have walked for more than thirty years I found a very fresh and almost totally consumed roe Buck that was in sept2015 so I started looking a bit closer then I found a sheep and a fox all killed and eaten by something with a big appetite, then in sept the following I was in Dorset near bland ford staying in a little cottage and I caught a brief look at one stalking along a hedge, when I got home I kept walking and searching were I found the deer and I also studied loads of American trail camera footage and realised that a good run through the woods was good for all animals, so I got deeper into the woods and particularly the large area of private land I mentioned and it was crawling with deer so I started camera trapping on the deer runs and that's how I caught it, I have found a good run is good for everything, l get all the known species using the runs I set my cameras on and hopefully I will get more cats over time

To be fair it doesnt sound like you have been doing it that long so you have done well to get some footage but it also shows potentially numbers present maybe?

Just been reading this guys website.

He seems to have loads of evidence.including hair footprints etc.

Is he telling lies about everything he claims or is he telling the truth.

Have a read and see what you think of what he's saying.

Greyman do you know this lad.

All this hard evidence from various locations yet no footage of any Leopard or Cougar or Hybrids, those pictures don't prove anything whatsoever no matter how interesting they are.

Sees like my question was ignored or not seen

Greyman you seying this is a cub aren't the Cubs more likely to be inquisitive and likely to stroll into villages areas more likely to be seen etc like most young animals get a bit confident as not aware of humans as being a danger

Hi Greyman

I dont disbelieve you but i have some questions ?

so the photo was of a 2/3 month old cub you think ! a cub of that age wouldnt be much differant in size to a big moggy would you agree ?

have there been any cases of domestic dogs been killed, as big cats love killing dogs for food.?

I do have a little experiance with wild cats as ive trapped a few lynx in canada and ive seen leopards in africa.

i lived in canada and saw a lot of cougar sign but never a 100% confirmed sighting. They aint easy to see !

a adult cougar will need to kill a large deer a week, thats a lot of carcasses out there to be found ?

cheers Dan

He says he feels the buzz when he catches the cats watching him, why the fcuk has he never got a camera in any of these sightings? He's a fcuking expert at finding a Leopard pube but can he fcuk get any footage of all these cats he knows about..... ?
