Just something that comes to mind, and I don't pretend to know anything about big cats, but when was the footage captured?

Does it coincide with a young cougar of that age? I assume they'd breed in the spring, and have their young late spring/summer?

I'm going to hold my hands up.

I don't know of any cat in a freezer i was bull shitting to get a good bite from a certain member but he didn't bite lol.

But I will say 1 thing.

I take my hat off to Greyman for his perseverance in trying to capture footage of what he set out to do.

I didn't think he was telling porkies.

And now socks has also confirmed what Greyman all ready knew.

So the are there big cats in the UK and more Importantly breeding in the UK myth.has been confirmed.

By Greymans dedication.

I find it very hard to believe we have breeding pairs of Cougars roaming our lands, just not having it sorry.

you were not having it no matter what the outcome was of my meeting with socks, from the start to the finish you have just acted like a troll, it's a little bit sad really and not painting a great picture of yourself, I assume by your avatar you were born in 1985 which makes you 32 you profess to have a genuine interest in big cats and large preditors so here was a chance to learn a bit and exchange some views even if they are well different to mine I would still respect them and try to explain were I,m coming from and you likewise but everything you have contributed is like a 14year old kid, my email box is full up with experts in the field of big cats from top university,s that help out and people high up in the beeb that are willing to offer financial help and provide laboratory conditions to examin the findings I also have contacts around the world that are dealing with these things as part of there dailly jobs so it was a good opportunity for someone with a genuine interest to get onboard and broaden there horizons, sorry mate but you have failed on every level as I said before more ears and less mouth would probably take you a bit further along life's road but hey it's all over now so have a good one

Socks would you say the fencing resembles the sort that would be used in a safari park or similar?

A few people have a bit of laugh at Greymans hobby but you're the only one who has taken it to a condescending level...youve got no interest in what Greyman or anyone else has to say on the subject cos you don't believe so why are you still commenting on this topic...just to give him more grief with your 'jokes' and laughing emoji no doubt

I know you're getting bombarded with questions greyman, but could you tell me what sort of areas (as in terrain) you get most sightings?

And could you tell us very roughly if you want, what parts of the country?

believe it or not mate they can breed in any month of the year although there are peaks and troughs they tend to coincide with there prey animals so the footage was taken on the 23/26 March and I would say( but I am not an expert ) that the cub is between two and three months old, so my reckoning would be born in January sometime, I also think that many predators even pike give birth a little bit earlier than there prey so they can grow up catching the new born offspring for the first year of life, it's a lot of assumption involved but it seems to fit and make perfect sense to me and next year I will have the cameras in place by mid December in the hope she comes back and I can get better proof, it's a very long road but as said before there are lots of nice things to see on the way, like a hare and a red kite this morning as an example cheers
