That keeper of the scottish wild cats i spoke to traps loads of hybrids and neuters and releases them again. Granted the pics of them hybrids do look like a pure wildcat but there are differences. Regardless though albeit they are bigger than you're average moggy no way they can be mistaken for anything other than a f***ing cat with nice markings lol

Why doesn't he just put them down? They are just going to compete for food and territory with the pure wildcats aren't they?

Just to clarify, a Cougar cannot roar so technically it's not a Big Cat but they sure do scream and are loud at it nonetheless. As Beast said the Leopard can roar but it's more of a rough bark the sound it makes.

 

A Jaguars roar sounds something in between a Tiger and a Leopard roar, the question is why hasn't any been heard by the men and women in search for them?

No need to apologise to me mate as I've stated I will be fair and say the truth regarding what I see ... the people off here that have met me know I will say it as it is ......

I'm looking forward to your opinion .If it's great footage you don't need to be a expert

sadly it's not the greatest footage it's at night when the camera is in black and white but it's clear enough to know what your looking at, truth be told there are no real experts in this subject just a few enthusiastic amateurs as its a mythical creature that some believe and many don't, I have had the pics looked at by a few people that I would consider expert in the subject and I can show socks the replys I have had back from them as well if it helps

I mean absouletly no disrespect greyman as i actually like you're posts.

However so this proof is going to be just another grainy pic that might or might not be what you claim it to be. I actually thought you had some hard evidence and that was the reason of you're reluctance to post it on the site.

I dont see why you dont just post it if its "not the best pic" save socks a journey.

socks is not making any journey it is me that will be doing over a hundred mile round trip, all he has to do is meet me when I get there, I would,nt be doing that if I did not think it proved anything, it is actually two short videos that I have and everyone that has seen them, both sceptics and people in the know, have said it is excactly what I think it is, I have not told them before hand apart from people that know what I'm about, but asked them what they think is on the film, I,m looking for the truth not trying to generate a good story, the thing is unless you get a David attingborough style film there will always be people who just like to piss on your fire and without the funding that piece of film won't come,

Bagged this cat killing sheep last year ,came in to a lamb distress call on the game pro .

And snared this leopard cub in same field, released of course.

How was a cat as small as the black one killing sheep mate? It might just be the picture but it looks just about the size of a normal cat or was it a fair bit bigger ?

Photos, especially nightime pics can be deceptive Rusty. We are actually not sure what kind of cat this was. Got Socks coming over on Wednesday to have a look at the original footage of it. We had been finding stripped out mouse carcases in the sheep field.......we knew what was coming next...atb
