A year ago i took a slip and landed with all my weight on my left knee it went up like a balloon and i spent the night with a ice pack on it and next day doctor sent me for a xray as they thought i had split my knee cap . i worked away but my mobility was badly affected i was living on 8 co codimol 30 grammes 5ooms a day went back to the doctor who said i needed phsyo after a few months i got physo and he said its your ligaments holding your knee cap gave me exercises and said use a crutch to take the weight off it . My work wouldnt let me use a crutch so i was signed off for two months and sent to see the works doctor , at the end of two months the works doctor says im going to write to your line manager and hr to see what jobs you can do on crutches i burst out laughing and said i was down the same road two months ago , and said who would see the xray as i think theres a bit of bone chipped off and in my knees fluid the doc poked my knee and said thats cartridge not ligiment damage you need to see your own doctor , so back to my own doctor he agreed gave me another line for a month and referred me the letter came last monday a 3 month plus wait to see a consultant , the wife says your no waiting another three months phoned her work to see if i was covered by her insurance i was saw the specialist on the tuesday , got my MRI scan today Easter sunday seeing the consultant next week and if need be hes going to operate then or any evening if he can fit me in

Im seriously pissed off with the nhs looks like ive been getting the wrong treatment all the money ive paid in and you have to wait months to see anybody i reckon it needs a big shake up
