philpot 5,009
Looks smart that Matt Think the darker stocks look ace especially with that grain Have fun with her Atb Si That is not dark Si compared to the AA stocks hitting the streets now. I think the lighter stocks shown at shows, in mags and web site look far far better with the grain jumping out on the walnut ones, not mine however as it is one of the bloody dark ones. mattwhite 1,993
The TX of mine loves AA Field Express and groups far better than any other pellet tested so I would have thought they would stand a good chance of giving a decent performance in your AA barrel Matt /Simon and you have seen the result at your house. Phil Thanks Phil, I will put them on the list. Quote Link to post

mattwhite 1,993
So....after racing home to pop a scope on the pro sport, a quick and easy zero followed and then this 25 yard test card. .177 at 25 yards with a cheap 3-9×40 scope (which will be getting replaced tomorrow) using some 4.52 bis mags i had left over. They felt quite tight going into the breech i have to say so any info as to head size would help a lot. I didn't even clean the barrel even though the guy said it had hardly been used, just too eager to shoot her??? 4 Quote Link to post

I've got pellets that are tight to fit in the breach but i don't think it dose any harm in a springer, I'm using h&n's in one at the moment and they group really well there certainly not gonna drop out atb si 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,558
Compliments on your shooting Matt Presuming the TX barrel is no different to the Pro Sport - I`ve had very tight groups "at range" with JSB Exact Express and AA Fields, both 4.52. Looking good mate, Enjoy. Mark. 1 Quote Link to post

Looking good mate, Enjoy. Mark. Cheers Mark.I'm going to pick up some express today and I've got some AA fields to try too along with exacts. I just remember how hard the bis mags hit with the 100, but you do lose that flatter arc with them as opposed to the lighter pellets. 1 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,558
Don't forget to clean your barrel between pellet types Matt, that way you`ll know exactly what to expect Good luck. Put the resulting pictures up mate when you`ve done please. atb Mark 1 Quote Link to post
