mattwhite 1,993
So..........after scouring the classifieds as i do every day I called a guy about a couple of springers. An hour's drive later I met the nicest fella you could wish to meet who showed me his extensive air rifle collection. Loads of rifles.....absolute paradise. After having a shoot of most of them and chatting for ages about all things air, I abandoned the thought of the 2 I looked at originally and firmly shook hands on the rifle below. To say I'm chuffed is an understatement. My next purchase was going to be another 100 but that will have to wait a little while. It will have to wait till tomorrow to get scoped up and fettled but I thought I would share with you anyway. Atvb lads?? 10 Quote Link to post

So far, I've tried FAPs in a .177 HW30, HW97, Prosport and, a .22 TX - they've worked well in all of them Bung me a pm if you want to try some mate. 3 Quote Link to post

Bunnyblatter 1,012
One of, if not the best looking Spring gun ever made. Stunning 2 Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Just an incredibly beautiful work of air rifle art to me. Everything about it just rings my bells. Yearned and longed for a Pro Sport as soon as it came onto the market. As accurate as it is beautiful to look at. In my book there is only one other group of spring rifles that are as accurate, if not more so, but not quite so stunningly beautiful. HW77, HW80 and HW97. With my own Pro Sport arriving today, it means I will possibly never buy another air rifle. That makes owning four of the very best you can buy. Or six if I were to add in a TX200 and a TX200HC...... No, the Pro Sport is the one and only 1 Quote Link to post

If it's as nice as this one I will be in raptures...! Thanks Simon.I'm really pleased with it and I hope yours arrives safely too. Its funny, I have been looking for a nice one for a while but not in too big a hurry and then boom! Out of the blue, there one is. The guy it came from was a collector and had loads of springers and pcps and they were all in amazing condition. I shot a lot of them as we talked and I shot a couple of tuned hw' s which felt silky smooth, one in particular Paul short tuned hw95 was exsquisit but the pro sport just felt right. Not tuned just lubed properly and produced a lovely group on his garden range. I'm sure I will bore you all to tears over the weekend with test groups??. Atvb Simon and don't forget to show us yours when she arrives??? 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,009
The TX of mine loves AA Field Express and groups far better than any other pellet tested so I would have thought they would stand a good chance of giving a decent performance in your AA barrel Matt /Simon and you have seen the result at your house.
