they are not that heavy here in the uk...400lbs would be a big bugger

Elk and red deer are two different deer ,same genus and will interbreed but elk are bigger by a third .

You’ll get different opinions on red deer depending on who you’re speaking to, there’s a huge difference between running them daytime on mountains & running them with a lamp & a motor.

Theres a big difference in running stuff with a lamp on foot and running it with a motor, let alone day and night

there's plenty people not afraid to slip single dog ,but don't think in my opinion you would have much body count, maybe in some circumstances you've seen a very special  dog or own one
