They can field 10 Aircraft carrier strike groups, each aircraft carrier has more aircraft/fire power than most countries entire airforces, a single US carrier can carry 60-70 F-18s maybe more plus the support aircraft, it's insane how big their military is.

 

I agree with you about post Brexit, I think the UK will align with it's natural ally the USA. I've believed that the EU will collapse for years and it's looking like it's getting close now.

 

I think that the US will crank up economic pressure on China to get them to sort out NK, China must rely quite heavily on the US for it's exports any trade sanctions would ruin them and their economy has been teetering on the edge for a few years now.

The Japanese are considered a virtual nuclear power. Basically they have the ability to build an effective nuclear weapon very quickly.

 

They also have anti ballistic missile capable destroyers, the same system that the Americans have.

Foreign policy is always guided, Obama had the likes of Zbigniew Brzezinski 'advising' him for example which may be why his hands were tied and he didn't do the things he said regarding foreign wars.
