Hywel 53
Always use a longnet if you're not confident of covering ALL holes with purse nets and avoid putting a ferret to ground an hour before dusk. Just my opinion of unwritten rules that work for me Quote Link to post
allgame 0
im liking this so far another basic is not to stand infront of a hole were the bunnie can see you other wise it will just turn around and i dont like sticking the ring in the hole personaly for some reason almost every second or third one escapes which is more fun when iv got my dogs but is still annoying Quote Link to post
nitro 0
I always rattle my car keys when I go out to feed or fess my ferrets. That way when there being stubborn down the holes, give your keys a shake, it sometimes gets them back out. (just don't drop um down a hole). Quote Link to post

andy s410c 61
Take spare batteries for locator & collars if you use one,i also take a small Petzl headlamp just incase it gets really smelly, digging or looking out for ferts in the dark if your unlucky for that to happen Quote Link to post
