Malt 379
If your permision has got a lot of gorse, or bramble, get a decent machete. Don't be tempted to buy a cheap one of the 'net. Quote Link to post

Don't be tempted to buy a cheap one of the 'net. I thought your machete was specially designed for cutting round corners there Maltenby Quote Link to post
cúagusgiorraí 57
Always be mindful of the wind direction. Basic but is often forgotten about. Quote Link to post
R_Oldroyd 17
Always keep a spare purse net in your pocket to replace the net that caught a rabbit. Saves time and possibly a lost rabbit. Regards Roger Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
do not strick you hand down a rabbit hole unless you sure it ent a wasps nest lol or a rat OR anything else...squirrel, snake, fox, mink etc...about 15 years back I was out one lovely summers evening with my mate Andy who had a very unfortunate encounter with an adder down a rabbit hole...don't mind admitting it scared the s**t out of me as well. He recovered ok but the hospital were a bit lost what to do to start with, and you can still see a bit of mark and discolouration on his hand. Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,800
An obvious one is keep quiet, don't stamp around or let your dog blow down the holes. Secondly always check all your kit before ou go out. Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Get out as early as you can. You don't want to be looking for a lost ferret in the dark. Quote Link to post
