I sent these q's to Woodga and snareman but thought i would also ask here. What size of eyelets are used on the snares and what gauge wire for the 6 strand snares you make yourself ? Thanks.

ACE I,LL SEND YOU SOME OVER , THE WIRE DIAMETER IS . 455 OR .457, YOU ALSO GET .375 TO THIN , SOME DEALERS MAKE THERE SNARES FROM THE THIN WIRE OR MIX IT AS YOU GET MORE ON A SPOOL , I MAKE MY OWN AS SHOP BOUGHT WIRES ARE POOR QUALITY DESIGN , WITH THIN CHEAP TWINE ATTACHED THAT JUST ROTS , YOU DO NOT NEEDTWINE ON A SNARE , I DON,T KNOW WHY THEY PUT THEM ON WIRES , PROBABLY BECAUSE THE SNARES ARE TO SHORT , A PRO. NOOSE IS 22 1/2 INCHES LONG ,GW.
