Man Dragged Off Plane

Recommended Posts

the thing is you have to check in at least two hours before take off .this just should not of happened

This wouldn't even be a news story if the guy wasn't a pellet. Apart from his wife 2 others were asked to leave and there is no major headlines about them. This at the end of the day is the result of the guy being an absolute cock

there is no headlines about them because they were not dragged of the plane bleeding and semi consious

The fault is that these hospitality industries are constantly overbooking. They do it everywhere. You should see people's holiday's ruined when they get to their destination and they can't get a hire

Totally wrong, a paying customer has been dragged off of a plane (somewhat comically) to make room for one of their members of staff...so a potential doctor has been prevented from doing his job just

Because they didn't act like complete and utter cocks. There's a moral to that story somewhere.

Paying customers shouldn't get bumped for staff, period, but it looks like their stock is down 4% this morning alone. That could lead to $800m being wiped off the face of the company.

So if you're flying UA in the near future expect to pay a 600% surcharge for your inflight sandwich.

Sympathy level = Zero! :bye:

Exactly...kicking paying customers off to accommodate your staff is a load of bollocks

no the airline acted like total cocks

So why no headline about the others?

well maybe they were quite happy to take the money ,obviously it was more important for this guy to get were he was going

Not to worry, mate. UA are feeling the cost of upsetting the people that pay their bills. As we're all finding these days if you want to flex your muscles make sure there isn't someone there with a camera, filming you.

UA went full Ronnie Pickering on this one. Both sides acted like cocks but I know which one will come off the worst! :)

Good!

What that airline did was f***ing disgusting. I hope it causes them some real pain.

I'd have been well pissed off if I was in that passengers place.

...... why should we have our holiday delayed for some over-done flight tart when, we've worked our arses off all year for it.

At the very least, it should have been first come, first served.

I would think it was quite important for a lot of people to get where they were going. Who knows what responsibilities anyone else had?

I really couldn't care less what happens to UA shares as they handled it badly, but that man thought he was more important than he really was.

I don't think that's the case at all,he paid for his ticket and he was checked in and sat on the f****n plane ,they could and should have not let it get to that stage and if it was me I would have kicked off big time and probably acted a bigger cock than him

He accepted the offer to disembark but when they told him he wouldn't get another flight until the following day he decided to withdraw his offer as he needed to see his patients the next day. Regardless of who was right, assaulting him was unnecessary and there's plenty on here would have a good cry when someone belonging to them gets slapped around.

Think after 9/11 airlines became a law unto themselfs. Its no fun going to an airport or flying anymore. We were offered money once if we took another flight.

I didnt volunteer myself f**k all you want to do is get home not sitting in an airport getting fleeced for a cuppa or a munch.

The way this guy was treated was bang out of order.oh and suspect most on here would kick up f**k if asked to get off once you had been sat down on the f***ing thing for god knows how long. Why not do it before boarding.Or was it the case of one or two of there colleugues running late.

I would want free travel for life on that airline.Aswell as money for being assaulted.

A friend of mine (crazy unhinged German) had just done 2 months in the desert and spent the whole time stressing about not getting home for Xmas. The day before Christmas eve we finally got one of the Algerians to take over from him and he flew back to Gatwick. I can't remember exactly what happened but they messed his flight up and wouldn't let him board, knowing the guy I can well imagine that he got a bit upset and probably had a little bit of a rant, so the tw*t behind the desk presses a button, the cops arrive and he gets arrested and spends the night in the cell.

Charming!

They get no sympathy from me, I bet they love doing stuff like that.
