Some time ago some one listed the parts that made up this trap , the jaws were off of one trap and the spring was from another , does anyone recall the brand name of these component parts?

They 110 BMI MAGNUM are made by BUTERA AND COST $50 A DOZEN PLUS POSTAGE .

I think micky was referring to the bmi 116. The jaws of a 110, and the spring of a 160

In reality,..originally,..there was no such trap as a 116...

My partner and I were forced to create this trap, in order to satisfy the Ministry

The 116 is simply a 110 (same jaw spread),..fitted with a larger single spring...

 

To say that the years proceeding the revised, Spring Trap Approval Order, were both frustrating and financially worrying,.would truly be an understatement.

Did you and your partner create the 116 or modified a conibear to suit the size?
