villaman 9,983
I have to hang my head in shame.........................................I can't get my head around chairgun so left it alone. When you put in the data, what if the scope is not listed in the link which is what happened when I had a Hawke Varmint (I wish I had not sold that to Mitch now, mistake) and can you use it with an MTC scopes. I have just been looking at the Airmax and really tempted but can't really afford one right now. Phil I tell you what Phil ,that scope is fcuking great and i mean that . Thanks for it and a good price Go for airmax another great scope 1 Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
well me and my mate got a new rat perm a couple of months ago that lead to the farm next door.. then to all the land behind the farm then to stables and some massive paddocks and thats where we've been tonight, its the first time so it was a learning/watching curve! took the streamline as id been testing daystate rangemasters and there the best so far, one hole groups at 40yrd so the first rabbit dropped at 67yrd lazed and using this.. i know what some are thinking but it works IMG_1402.PNG shot taken leaning on a fencepost and the woody could of been taken with a gat gun, it landed about 8yrd away with its back to me so that was taken for the pie pot FullSizeRender.jpg then as the light went we swapped to n/v setups more than anything to observed, i knocked one at 45yrd and my mate came back with two that he knobbled with his .177hw 100! was a good night could of been more but they'll save! atb si Out of interest ,why 40 yards for zero ? Phil I've never really kept hold of any mtc's for long Phil and I'm struggling to justify keeping the viper, its no good for dark woods during the day and dusk and lamping are a waste of time!! I'm hawke all the way now, never had an issue or problem with them yet... regarding the rec thing just put in the basic mil ones if your scope isn't listed!! i was using a new pellet that id group tested and worked well but hadn't ranged out... my mate lazed it at 67yrd so i put the info in my phone and it took less than a minute to do and was bang on!! cheating or not it works and id rather spend my time hunting than ranging.. the accuracy/grouping at range is most important to me!! cheers si 2 Quote Link to post
