neil cooney 10,416
most of us know the landowners of the grounds we shoot over and practice not being seen, see anything dodgy make a note of cars, vans or trucks reg numbers or call the landowner, some might say it`s grassing and not like it but if this gets out of hand we`ll end up losing our shooting grounds See anything dodgy.........you could end up losing more than your shooting grounds.lads might be at something else, bit of honest decent criminality and end up in nick.let the farmers lookout for themselves, most of thems cnuts anyway. You must own a hell of a lot of land. he`s irish, you can tell by the behaviour of the ones that come into England and wales that most seem to think that laws and rules don`t apply to them I'm Irish too and glad to say I have plenty of land to hunt on where I'm welcome and the farmer is happy to see me. Personally I wouldn't enjoy my hunting as much if I thought I was a problem. Some folk seem to have a romantic idea that they're poachers when in reality they're just a bloody nuisance. As for the scum stealing livestock ? They're as low as any burglar IMO and turning country folk very paranoid which means locks on gates, usually open land now out of bounds, Gardi called when there's strange vehicles seen and good hard working folk not able to sleep at night. I fail to see how anyone with a single bit of decency could argue with any of this.

The last lad who was caught rustling in Kerry was a farmer only got caught when a pet lamb started bleating for the lad who reared it, at a mart in cork, same in Wicklow, sheep going missing for 20 yrs on a lad....murders with neighbours, blaming the country, tractors being burnt out, turned out it was his cousin.....lock of sheep only any good to a lad with contacts and transport....no good to a lad in a hoodie and air max........easy blame lads who look different..or strangers.... Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Sheep rustling is as organised as any top crime ,watchers ,trained dogs and a ready market through unscrupulous dealers . Two lots been caught here in last month and we arnt a sheep county .Double decker wagons ,false plates and all done in silence .Its us country lads ,out all hours that should be informing law of this type of thing because no farmer moves sheep at night legally ,none .
