bigmac 97kt 13,807 Posted April 8, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 8, 2017 Well had a good day if you could call it that we were nearly at the perm when the wife phoned to say she had left her house key and i had to turn round and drive back to let her in then when we got to the perm i went to see Linda the owner to tell her we would be in the back fields drove into the long walk as we call it and set about zeroing the rifles in the merlyn was spot on with the jsb heavys the ultra took a little bit more time to zero but we got it spot on,mind she dose not like f,a,p not one little bit but only had a hand full of jsb exacts 15,89 left so thought i would give the FAP a go and it was spitting them out all over the place so ended up back on the jsb exacts. We then drove down the long walk just for a change NOW i had say,d earlier to LH ill drive so far down and we will walk the rest WELL I DID NOT AND GOT THE TANK STUCK IN A BOG LOL TOOK US AN HOUR TO GET HER OUT I DID NOT HAVE HER IN 4 WHEEL DRIVE AND WHEN I REALIZED IT WAS TO LATE any way once that was sorted we got down to the shooting we lay,d up about 30 yrds from the burrows and waited only one came out but not far enough to take the shot and it boltted back in any way to cut a long story short ended up with 6 crows and two little rabbits 4 of the crows fell into thick undergrowth and two were stuck up the tree,s saw plenty little kits about so this perm may pick back up me two rabbits four crows LH two crows and despite all the hassle you know what we really did have a good day and a laugh atvbjimmy :thumbs: 9 Quote Link to post
