Spicerlife 11
Hi, I have a shaggy Lurcher and we're just trying to get into hunting a bit more for fitness than anything. He's a pretty lazy dog and looks a bit fat compared to my friend's lurchers, but they are all more whippet crosses and I think he's possibly got some bigger dog, like collie in him. He responds well if there's prey. Other than that he just bumbles around rarely getting into a cannter. I'm wondering if he is a bit overweight and that is why he is a bit lazy but perhaps he's just lazy. I don't know. I'm new to these dogs. I love him a lot though, and he's got very strong back legs and is a brilliant jumper (all the better to hop on the bed)

Neal 1,869
You know what they say...slow and steady wins the race. I've caught the occasional rabbit on Dartmoor and my dogs are 0% sighthound so keep trying.
