First X Whippet Greyhound.

Best dog I had was a whippet grey shed fill bags of bunny in the lamp do a couple of morning hare and would get stuck into charlie. Don't see many about these days underrated little dogs imo

a mate of mine ran one a few years back I never seen it run he said it was good on rabbit and most other things but was thick as pig sh*t and abit daft if it seen anything down the beam it would go nuts

What dose the wippet bring to the greyhound exept bringing the size down

 

How do they compair to a smaller greyhound?

I would much rather have a big whippet than a small greyhound, whippets can be great rabbit dogs most have great drive good nose and much tougher than you would think and i reckon a hell of a lot more clever than a greyhound.

i have seen a few ped whippet cross greyhound over the years decent rabbit dogs knock over hares. Exciting dogs to watch .

. They're a lot quicker and up and at em I loved seeing mine behind em could put a couple in the bag but onlynhad a couple of runs in the tank

Popular in the 80s with the old lads where i lived. Ferreting daytime mooching takers of sometimes limited opportunities. A run or two on a sunday morning hare. i liked them. Saw a few decent ones in the 90s not seen one work for years.

Seen some pretty good line bred stuff years ago. Grew x Grew off proven working lines would be the best way to go I reckon.
