Silversnake 1,099
So is trump bombing assad now then wtf, supporting isis now, this is on crazy situation. From what I can make out its just a one off attitude adjuster...even though there's no real proof Assad was behind the chemical attackHaha I like your description, he is probably laughing about it over some Dom perignon! It most definitely will be interesting times ahead, especially if you are right kanny and it is just a 'one off attitude adjuster' as this action sends strong messages to Russia, China, North Korea, islam, his supporters, the lefties and his own advisors and political party. It will be interesting to see everyone's reaction to this but Trump is not shy in his new role that is for sure!

Be interesting if he is applauded for it now by the voters who were so against Obama/Clinton involvement in Syria? Could it just be that latest wave of casualties to change his mind? After so many other child deaths? Surely more complex than that?

If Obama had said what he was going to do with his red line policy maybe this attack would have been avoided... Threats were made by America but not carried out under Obama that sent the wrong message I don't think Donald had much choice this time tbh.

It was suggested earlier in the thread a deal with Russia over the Ukraine, but in 48hours, of that magnitude??? It would probably have to predate the attack? Get your teeth into that! Haha.... Blackbriar 8,569
So is trump bombing assad now then wtf, supporting isis now, this is on crazy situation. He's done it, as Kanny said, to fire a shot across Assad's bows.It won't have been done in support of any one side (and there more to it than Assad vs IS), because none of the sides are really supportable ! To my mind, Assad is just the least bad option !

desertbred 5,490
I have a personal policy I dont believe a fecking word that comes out of any politicians mouth no matter what side they are from. The last two months Trump it has been alledged Putin won the election for his bessy mate Trump, also the billions dollar business deals made by people Trump incorporated into his Government now all of a sudden as if by a mircle the two main players are daggers drawn ,is it Fake News or alternative facts take your pick. The main one with a history of using banned weapons is America cluster mines, Napalm and Mustard Gas in Vietnam oh and even a couple of Atomic bombs dropped for good measure on Japan. Putin/Assad I would not put f**k all past Putin and Assad nor trust f**k all the "Coalition of Saudia and Western forces say. I know the chemical weapons Sadam had in 1979 to use against Iran, the Khurds and the Marsh Arabs were supplied by GB and France thats why Blair was so sure he had them. Asad has had civil war for 7 years hes not got the facility to manufacture large amounts of nothing.Arms and munitions to both sides are being supplied from \a common source and the Saud money masters are involved so . Let those who claim to be observant work things out. All i see are ordinary innocent folk being used as collateral damage .
