What a miserable fcuking mess. I was listening to Sebastian Gorka on radio 4 this morning & he said, don't worry they have a full plan in place to sort this all out.........yeh right?

Just when we thought it was all about sorted eh? But it Seems that the conclusion didn't suit some :hmm:
I don't fcuking know mate, I give up! Haha.....I'm not sure I'm buying Trump has suddenly become a puppet, I think some of his hardcore supporters are going to have to face up to his short comings, rather than endlessly search for plausible conspiracy theory's on Alt-right blogging sites that will pardon their poor judge of character! Haha......

How people can see pictures of dead children and children with oxygen masks on and say 'f**k them' is beyond me...as tatblisters said, most of the British public won't give a shit

I have a personal policy I dont believe a fecking word that comes out of any politicians mouth no matter what side they are from. The last two months Trump it has been alledged Putin won the election

Itproper upset me seeing the little babies struggling to breath and dying . I don't understand the politics of it all but I know when I see something that's wrong and that was wrong !

Well lets not forget that many on the right used to lampoon Obama for the same short comings, was he dishonest and had no good intentions? I don't think so, I think a lot of them think they can do some good until they get in and find out what the reality is, John F Kennedy was another example of someone who thought he could beat the system.

It's fine that people don't like Trump but it would be hard to believe that he would straight out lie about what he wanted to do, that the MSM and elites would all rail against him to the extent of accusing him of being a Russian puppet and now all of a sudden he was an insider all along....that is even more of a far fetched conspiracy theory.

I think it's more likely he has become isolated by the Neocons.

By the way the Alt Right are not pardoning him, in fact it was the Alt Right who were the most vocal against the airstrikes.

If Trump is being boxed in to a corner and has realised there is no way to do what he promised then he would be better of throwing in the towel and telling everyone the truth than serving 4 years as another golf player in Chief.

Anyone remember this little gem? It was later revealed that she was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States and that her testimony could not be verified...basically it was a lie to get us into Iraq the first time round.

I'm not suggesting his campaign was simply a big lie, but it was obviously padded out with a lot of marketing bullshit, which was designed to hook a certain voter demographic, which it did, which more than likely they hoped they could implement, given time? & who knows, maybe they still will?

I think you've missunderstood my point about Alt-right, I'm not suggesting they are pardoning him, but them selves for unwavering belief in the unbelievable....

This is just one man we are talking about entering the unknown, of course he wasn't going to get it all his own way, but he gave the impression he would? That's what mystifies me, intelligent people running with that idea?

The rest of it quite frankly is over my head! I'm happy to admit that....haha...

All I'm sayng is some of the answers maybe simpler than we think?

I don't really disagree with most of what you say but pandering to (or trying to hook) nationalist sentiments is opening a sort of Pandora's box and they've not going to to accept 50% or even 90% they want the whole thing, this is the difference between a very large amount of Trumps voters compared to Obama's. I think many of Obama's supporters made excuses for him right to the end, with Trump the nationalists are going to have his head on a spike if he wavers which is what he is doing.

Cameron pandered to Euro-sceptics and Ukip supporters (also nationalists) many times before he offered a referendum, and all they/we are going to do it take what he offered and then demand more.

I think Trump is stuck between a rock and a hard place now if he doesn't deliver on his main promises he will be hated more by his own supporters than by the democrats. This is the changing world we live in now, nationalism is on the rise as is socialism, the centre ground is virtually dead as far as I can see so we are in for interesting times providing we aren't all dead from nuclear war :D

I totally agree that the average Obama voter is perhaps wishy washy next to your staunch trump vote, but if trump is ousted, what next? I just hope it makes decent spectator viewing, without being too harmful! ;-)

I don't mean to call them wishy washy they just stuck by their man through thick or thin and didn't hold him to account, probably because they could blame the republicans for trashing everything he tried to do.

The Alt-Right and other hardcore nationalist types will throw Trump under a bus so fast he won't know what day it is, Twitter has been on fire since the missile attacks, there aren't many of the big social media personalities who are backing him right now and it was them and the trolls who got him elected in my opinion.

Anyone remember this little gem? It was later revealed that she was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States and that her testimony could not be verified...basically it was a lie to get us into Iraq the first time round.

In her emotional testimony, Nayirah stated that after the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait she had witnessed Iraqi soldiers take babies out ofincubators in a Kuwaiti hospital, take the incubators, and leave the babies to die.

Her story was initially corroborated byAmnesty International[3] and testimony from evacuees. Following the liberation of Kuwait, reporters were given access to the country. An ABC report found that "patients, including premature babies, did die, when many of Kuwait's nurses and doctors... fled" but Iraqi troops "almost certainly had not stolen hospital incubators and left hundreds of Kuwaiti babies to die."[4][5] Amnesty International reacted by issuing a correction, with executive director John Healey subsequently accusing the Bush administration of "opportunistic manipulation of the international human rights movement".[6]

Removing Assad is a priority for Trump administration

http://uk.businessinsider.com/r-trumps-un-envoy-says-ouster-of-al-assad-is-a-priority-of-us-2017-4?r=US&IR=T

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said in an interview that she sees regime change in Syria as one of the Trump administration's priorities in the country wracked by civil war.

Defeating Islamic State, pushing Iranian influence out of Syria, and the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad are priorities for Washington, Haley said in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" which will air in full on Sunday.

"It just -- if you look at his actions, if you look at the situation, it's going to be hard to see a government that's peaceful and stable with Assad."

MAGA (Make Assad Go Away)?

The Russians have had an aircraft shot down by a NATO member, an Ambassador murdered in front of TV cameras, a coup on their border in Ukraine, sanctions and Christ knows what else. Their patience is surely running out and our own leaders are behaving unbelievably arrogant.

We are talking about messing with a country with 5000 nuclear missiles

I wouldn't worry about a large scale conflict, money rules the world these days not ideology.. A full on war would be bad for business..

It depends. If you keep cutting one small strand off a rope every week then it might take time but eventually that rope will break. Embarrass a leader enough times and they will react to save face and not look like a pushover. Where you park your fleet will even be seen as a threat from now on.
