Remove hat A good war is always good for a President's approval ratings... Now where did I put that tinfoil? Old Hilary's ratings would have been through the roof if she got her way...... ? kanny 20,502
I really dont know what to make of it all to be honest....it's the fact that Assad has nothing to gain but everything to loose at this point from this attack that's throwing me .I said before its just not adding up ...could the truth be far more spectacular than any conspiracy theory? BGD 6,436
Maybe Assad just isn't a rational actor? Personally I think he proved that the first time he used chemical weapons...

Personally I think he proved that the first time he used chemical weapons...But can we say for sure it was Assad On 20 August 2012, President Barack Obama used the phrase "red line" in reference to the use of chemical weapons. On 6 September 2013 a bill was filed to authorize the use of military force against the Syrian military, mainly in response to the use of sarin in the Ghouta attack on 21 August 2013. It's funny how Obama plants the seed in 2012 then a year later it happens don't you think? Is it just coincidence they want to run a oil/gas pipe line through Syria has this been a Assad stitch up from the start?

You mean the bill that was never voted on because the US, Russia and Syria came to an agreement that involved Syria handing over all their WMDs? If the whole thing was just a pretext to go to war with Syria why would they come to an agreement that stopped that happening?
kanny 20,502
And that didn't work so send in the suidi jihadists to destabilise the area giving a excuse to put the foot in thedoor and divide a conquer ? ...I just think nothing should be took on face value in this whole mess ...it stinks
WILF 46,685
If we had left Assad alone in the first place instead of trying to deliver our brand of western freedom then he may have had the chance to gas a few villages, put the rebels back in their box and massive humanitarian disaster would have been averted along with the loss of a million lives........but no, we have to poke our f***ing nose into Arab culture yet again! When are people going to realise.....we don't understand them, they don't understand us and none of us belong together !
