Probably the best thing you can do with the kids in my eyes. Living the dream lol. Got a nice little woods on perm that we will have a few nights in this summer can't wait. Quote Link to post

If it's just you and the dogs then that makes life easier. If you are taking the kids then you will need to stick to recognised areas as mentioned above. I've wild camped all over. If you are up at first light, leave everything as you found it and gone then nobody really bothers you. I will be getting out on Dartmoor a lot over the summer. If you want peace stay away from the big lochs at the weekend.... Just get yer dog n tent n crack on mate.... Quote Link to post
