just-A-snap 1,269
Seems if most folk are willing to spend more at a rfd for three months guarentee Some RFD's give Three and some Six Months Guarantee. You pay your money and takes your choice. With RFD The Tax Man Gets his share, Privately he does not. I will not say one is better than the other for all, as I said before Fair Exchange No Robbery with Private or RFD. But second hand prices privately are just slightly under RFD and still have to pay a proportion of VAT. Speaking just for my self, I use an RFD and let the VAT Hopefully be spent on Schools, Hospitals and So On. We all have a choice, Fair Exchange No Robbery. All the best to you and yours The one. Paulnix 426
I know what you are saying but as I can claim Vat back when buying second hand I wouldn't pay a a proportion of the VAT unless I was getting a Vat invoice. Is nice when buying new to be able to knock 20% off, often makes the difference between affording and not affording something or in the case of my HMR by time I bought all the bits to go with it the Vat I claimed back paid for the scope. If you guys are on good terms with farmers you shoot for is worth thinking about asking them to put vermin control items through their books. 2 Quote Link to post

It is more than likely that most will not and will find that it is not advisable to be VAT registered if not fulfilling the beneficial requirements, RFD prices are Overhead, Profit Margin and VAT. Private Prices are just under RFD. You pay your money and takes your choice. Fair Exchange No Robbery. Is that so Mr VAT MAN? PS. Again just food for thoughts.
