chrismdd 787
Well here are a few selected pictures from the end of the coarse season on our little river and the start of the wild brown trout season on the 1st April this year: Managed to get my lad out a few times after the pike so he could get one bigger than his 3lb jack from last year. In two sessions he had two doubles the best at 16lb. On one of those days we landed over 80lb of pike on deadbaits and lures: Had some good evening and night sessions after the chub in tiny little swims where you could barely swing a rod. Mainly fishing breadflake with liquidised bread in a cage feeder. The best chub was 3-13 (a specimen for this little river). Also had the bonus of a 4-06 bream. Also removed a few crayfish for tea: Then on Saturday started off the wild brown trout season with this one of 2-09 from a tiny little snaggy pool: 17 Quote Link to post
