DEERMAN 1,020
Ive tried the lot ,vet wrap , inner tubes .protectors you can buy , best ive found is gaffer tape ,with sticky side turned back on its self on stopper then vics nose stuff smeared on it to stop the dog pulling it off , but if you want them to heal 100% the only answer is rest Edited April 3, 2017 by DEERMAN Quote Link to post
Somewhereyournot 1,117
My pup got a slice on his pad, I put paper towel squared up and just taped it up, cleaned once a day with savlon spray... Done it in a way that he won't put weight on it...Hopefully it will work lol Quote Link to post
flipbull 1,139
I'd stop running it till it healed. Had a mate done that time and time again. Even after 6 weeks a couple of runs and it would just split again. In the end got it removed. Saying that it's a good time to let it heal. Quote Link to post

Dinosaurs 2,107
Where one of mine nearly ripped one of her stoppers off a few weeks back shes had it stitched back to hold in place. Vet used dissolvable stitches. Touch wood looks like its doing ok. Time will tell. Atb 1 Quote Link to post
