One For Rez And One For Me

Recommended Posts

After spending the morning doing a bit of gardening< I had an hour to spare this afternoon so grabbing an offcut of wood I decided to make a shield for Rez to work with my Chrony and to make a target holder to fit an aluminium easel that my wife used to use in her work.

I needed a single sheet of wood to protect the Chrony from a stray pellet (not really needed with our Rez but nevertheless it would be useful for me at a later date as I am not as good a shot and with FAC power to fcuk the Chrony, I won't take any chances. The idea of this is to use down range, simple and basic but it will do. Having the ability to free stand Rez, you can place the Chrony far enough back to see the readout so I hope that will do you mate. The hole size is 115 x 60mm, if you want it a big bigger just let me know, it isn't very neat but what the hell it's only to put a pellet through.

I have made it with built in spikes so it will push into the ground providing the ground is not too hard.

Now for the target holder. Yes I know I could use much smaller holders but I like to use a plain sheet of A4 paper with just a black spot which then really lets you see the image easily and also take into account it is usually windy over here on the east coast so something that won't blow over easily is a better bet. Although I have not taken a photo of the easel folded down but it is the same as a deckchair so nice and compact.

Ah, gutted. I thought you was talking about getting a shot to register on a Combro at 30yrds.

...... I reckon its doable with a made up plate :hmm:

That was pulled by one of the administrators, was also pulled from Rez's YouTube Channel, by all accounts in the words of late Frank Carson That was a Cracker
