TOMO 26,185 Posted April 3, 2017 Report Share Posted April 3, 2017 I,ve had a little punt on Cambridge i think its great to see a good old traditional English race still standing strong in todays weird times......ive a lot of admiration for them i spent a few weeks training with an Olympic rower years ago the endurance those boys have is unbelievable.......wouldnt of minded having a go at it myself but as Geoff Capes once said you dont get in them boats you put them on !Now thats a name from my childhood. Don't know if you remember years ago me asking you about that Judo chap I know. Both him and my dad used to know Geoff, apparently he used to pop in now and then for a pint in the local i met him when he had a security firm, I seem to remember he liked breeding birds same here,,,the security company i work for used to sub work off them years ago,,, i always cheer cambridge on as well,,,but only cos my mum went to cambridge to study history..
