gnasher16 30,121 Posted April 2, 2017 Report Share Posted April 2, 2017 I,ve had a little punt on Cambridge i think its great to see a good old traditional English race still standing strong in todays weird times......ive a lot of admiration for them i spent a few weeks training with an Olympic rower years ago the endurance those boys have is unbelievable.......wouldnt of minded having a go at it myself but as Geoff Capes once said you dont get in them boats you put them on ! 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We used to go to either Putney or Chiswick, but either way a few of the pubs along the river. Great atmosphere! I've always cheered for Cambridge. Don't know why now. Don't know if you remember years ago me asking you about that Judo chap I know. Both him and my dad used to know Geoff, apparently he used to pop in now and then for a pint in the local ?
