Still seeing no answer as to how or why a Rabbi would use two important figures in the Jewish faith that pre-date Jesus to try and discredit him somehow

There is no answer just my opinion.

There must be something that made you arrive at that opinion though? Or is it just that you assume Jews are always out to discredit Jesus even when it doesn't really discredit him at all and in fact does more damage to the image of an important Jewish figure?

Lol you make me laugh bgd, youve provided nothing of the sort, you found a rabbi teachings, an youve presented it as yours?

 

This proves to me that, your not upto scratch on your bible, as you say youve read it.

 

The rebuttal was clear an put to bed,(an youd of know that if you read the bible) the rabbi clearly uses the niv,why, hes a jewish rabbi, why did he not use the hebrew? Bit suspect isnt it?niv which has changed Gods word, so therefore sends out lies.

I consider myself a Christian though I don't follow any denomination. I read the Bible as an allegory to guide you how to live your life in a positive way. What I take from it is that you should try and help others and behave less like a c**t. I also believe there's a benevolent creator, and when you die it'll be a transition to another type of existence rather than nothingness. That makes me comfortable with death.

I'm not interested in who begat who, and if people want to slag off Christianity that doesn't bother me as I keep my religion to myself (apart from just now ).

Ok, let's have it right with our resident Muslim multi personality poster.......the various Christian faith are far from perfect and in fact are disgusting since the subject of all the abuse came out......and that is why Christians are turning away from mainstream church in their thousands.

It's why investigations have been launched, commissions set up, compensation pay outs to the tune of millions etc etc

Tell me exactly how the Muslim faith is doing the same to tackle the backward nutters within its own ranks?........are thousands of Muslims turning away from going to the mosque ?

Are they activel trying to offer up the extremists to the police?

I like your post, but I have to point out that I never said anything about which religion's paedophiles are 'better' and the only reason I mentioned anything about it was an attempt to prevent such an argument.
