Francie 6,368
Dont be silly pal, if jesus followed the talmud, we would be jews not christian. They crucified him. Jesus was ethnically Jewish and lived his life as a Torah-observant Jew, do you actually know anything about your own religion?Lol so silly little man, iv read it all before an i read your link, another jew trying to discredit jesus. Do you know jews reject jesus, thats why they crucified him, an you want me to beleive there assumptions about the bible, lol. The jews say there torah men, first five books only of old t. Heres an eg, they said moses is the greatest prophet ever, but on the same breath, deny what moses said. Moses spoke about jesus in old t, but they reject it still, i could put a list on what reject in torah. So dont try to be a wiseman looking in, go read the bible an then come back to me. As I said, totally ignorant of your own religion I sometimes wonder if you've ever even read the Bible TBHHave you read the bible, no so i would stop making a fool of yourself pal, your an non beleiver trying to tell a beleiver about his faith an good book lolYour a fool, simple, instead of calling silly names like you normally do, how about showing me out of the bible were am wrong??? You keep listening to the f***ing jewsish who rejected jesus. This will be so much fun tearing your argument apart later. So you put up were im ignorant or whatever. Infact pm me instead. I like how you call me a fool just before telling me not to call you silly names  Why would assume I haven't read the Bible just because I'm not a Christian? Of course I've read it, just like I've read many holy books. Why are you so offended by a Jew analysing the scripture to find out Rebecca's age when she married Isaac? Why do you think he's just trying to discredit Jesus? You do realise Isaac and Rebecca are important figures in the Jewish faith too right? So I'd say a Rabbi has every right to talk about them and analyse the scripture around them. Still waiting for that rebuttal to his analysis of the scripture BTW As for you saying Jesus wasn't Jewish anyone with even basic knowledge of him knows that's a fact. Well if you have read the bible cover to cover, youd know that jesus might have been born a jew, but did he practice it, no? He told the jews in john 8, that theyre biologically connected to abraham, but thats were it stops, because if they beleived abraham, they would not of rejected me, (jesus) I dont need to rebuttal, the evidence is terrible, plain assumptions, its not even one bit accurate, so i wouldnt waste my time. An of course he can do what he wants, but at end of the day the jews then, an now rejected jesus, therefore rejecting God. Thats jesus words in the bible not mine. Francie 6,368
Thats a funny 1.. scottish got scared from aboriginal "You f***ing wombat " lol You're one strange cnut Axum. You wanna see strange ?PMSL = Prophet Muhammed Shagged Little aishaPoor little aisha!I read that in genesis , isaac married rebbeca at age 3.Poor RebeccaDo not listen to this tripe mate, ridiculousEveryone talks shit at times but 95% of what AXUM says is bollocksTbh what happened 1000+ years ago is beyond my control and care. My problem is the millions who want to live their life in Mohamed's image in these times and are causing untold grief for families, communities and countries. I especially despise those who don't want to live in Mohamed's image but somehow feel the need to defend the barbaric and ancient customs of these people. Dont know a muslim who would defend marrying a 9 years old.. or killing ex muslim At least i dont. I think its disgusting.. but i will remind u of christianity and talmud.. jesus follows talmud too Dont be silly pal, if jesus followed the talmud, we would be jews not christian. They crucified him. I was always under the impression that jesus or yesuha ,was born a jew lived his life as a jew and died a jew ,there was no such thing as Christians before jesus or yesua died, Christian means Christ in ,so you cant have Christ in before he died Jesus was born a jew, but didnt practice it, he rebuked the jews lots of times, cause they were not following as abraham instructed, they were practicing mens philosophy not God. He was the first christian obviously, an was crucified cause he didnt follow there philosophy of men, instead of, ( who they claim to follow abraham) abraham an his teachings. An of course he can do what he wants, but at end of the day the jews then, an now rejected jesus, therefore rejecting God. Thats jesus words in the bible not mine. Jesus lived as an observant Jew, something you would know if you had actually read and understood the Bible. In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 57), Jesus continually affirmed the authority of the Torah and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17) even in the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 5:19-20). He regularly attended synagogue (Luke 4:16), and His teaching was respected by the other Jews of His day (Luke 4:15). He taught in the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem (Luke 21:37), and if He were not a Jew, His going into that part of the Temple would simply not have been allowed (Acts 21:28-30). Jesus also displayed the outward signs of being an observant Jew. He wore tzitzit (tassles) on His clothing (Luke 8:44; Matthew 14:36) to serve as a reminder of the commandments (Numbers 15:37-39). He observed Passover (John 2:13) and went up to Jerusalem (Deuteronomy 16:16) on this very important Jewish pilgrimage feast day. He observed Succoth, or the feast of tabernacles (John 7:2, 10) and went up to Jerusalem (John 7:14) as required in the Torah. He also observed Hanukkah, the festival of lights (John 10:22) and probably Rosh Hashanah, the feast of trumpets (John 5:1), going up to Jerusalem on both those occasions as well, even though it isn't commanded in the Torah. Clearly, Jesus identified Himself as a Jew (John 4:22) and as King of the Jews (Mark 15:2). From His birth to His last Passover Seder (Luke 22:14-15), Jesus lived as an observant Jew. https://www.gotquestions.org/was-Jesus-a-Jew.html If you think his analysis is so laughably wrong surely it would be easy to disprove the conclusion he came to in regards to Rebecca's age? How does your interpretation of the scripture differ? How old do YOU think Rebecca was when Isaac married her? Edited April 4, 2017 by BGD
Francie 6,368
Ok just to amuse you bgd, first of the niv bible that this rabbi is quoting, is a joke an words replaced left right an center, which you will see clearly. The niv was translated in 1978 from an english translation of protestant bible. Now look very closely i will put up the kj verse then the niv verse were the rabbi is quoting from. So you tell me now were it even remotley says any evidence rebekah is three ffs. Genesis 22:20-24King James Version (KJV) 20 And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor; 21 Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram, 22 And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. 23 And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. 24 And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah. King James Version (KJV) 20 Some time later Abraham was told, Milkah is also a mother; she has borne sons to your brother Nahor: 21 Uz the firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel (the father of Aram), 22 Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph and Bethuel. 23 BETHUEL BECAME THE FATHER OF REBEKAH. Milkah bore these eight sons to Abrahams brother Nahor. 24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also had sons: Tebah, Gaham, Tahash and Maakah. Genesis 22:20-24 (NIV) Now look at the change in words, the kj says begat, an the niv says became, so the rabbi is using unfound untrusted niv tripe, which has words clearly changed, so hes wrong buddeh. You havent a clue bgd,i didnt no that nahor an milcah, could have all them children at the one time or was it just rebekah, lol Read it properly you might get it pal. The above passages just tell you who nahor an milcah begat it clearly doesnt state a time an date does it. I told you big assumptions, an untrusted translations, your miles out bigman. BGD 6,436
You're right it doesn't explicity state her age (I'm getting deja vu here) but if you use the context of other passages you can make an educated guess on her age being around 3. I'm still waiting for you to tell me how old you think she was, I mean if you're so sure she wasn't 3 you must have an idea of her actual age right? And I'm still not sure how a Rabbi interpreting scripture about Old Testament figures who are important to the Jewish faith is somehow trying to "discredit Jesus" I notice you didn't challenge the incredibly well sourced proof that Jesus lived as an observant Jew... Francie 6,368
If it doesnt clearly state it in the bible 2 or 3 three times, then its not important. Theres no evidence to say what age she was, so i dont dwell on it. Ive proved my point, toodle ooh Ps, an observant jew lol shut up would ye lol
Francie 6,368
Jesus practiced what the jews should have practiced,Gods law, the jews followed after there own philosophy, not what abraham has told them, an jesus states this numerous times, he even threw them out of the synagauges for there transgressions. Not all the jews done this, some did follow abraham an Gods teaching, but even to this day do the jews practice what the five books telk them, no.

Francie 6,368
One last thing the jews of that time followed the traditions of men, not the torah, the bible clearly states this. Jesus followed the law of God to the t, an told the jews they were hypocrites for following the elders traditions, instead of Gods word.
Francie 6,368
Yeah you cant accept the truth from jesus own mouth, im just stating what the bible says, dont shoot the messanger.

Still waiting to here how a Rabbi analysing scripture about two important figures to the Jewish faith is only doing it to somehow discredit Jesus? Yes an observant Jew, he practised the faith of Judaism as outlined in the well sourced article I posted earlier that you chose to ignore.

WILF 47,354
Ok, let's have it right with our resident Muslim multi personality poster.......the various Christian faith are far from perfect and in fact are disgusting since the subject of all the abuse came out......and that is why Christians are turning away from mainstream church in their thousands. It's why investigations have been launched, commissions set up, compensation pay outs to the tune of millions etc etc Tell me exactly how the Muslim faith is doing the same to tackle the backward nutters within its own ranks?........are thousands of Muslims turning away from going to the mosque ? Are they activel trying to offer up the extremists to the police? Because let's face it, that's what your replays are all about........you dont need to tell christian people the mainstream church is bad, we f***ing know it's bad and as Peaky rightly says arguing over who's peado is best is a f***ing nonsense.......but I will say this, at least we are not still marrying kids unlike you savage c**ts. So you just f**k off and try and stop your mob slaughtering innocent commuters and we will try getting all our child abusers brought to justice......how's that sound!
