Had Larsen set about a week,picked 7 Maggie up so far...hoping numbers will improve come April/may

What a lovely sight seeing them boogers in there. Nice double. Just how did you get No: 1 to get you on the way? I remember way back, posing the nest of pheasant eggs in the trap and keeping my fingers crossed. Well done and keep at it. May 10th with the poles I always reckon. Jok.

Great result! Used to get good numbers keeping two traps going over the spring/summer months. Alas, I don't have the time these days, which is a pity.

Anyone used the larsen mate trap? Look an easy enough design to make up in the shed.

Magpies paired up for sure , had 21 in ten days , not having as much joy with crows though maybe just a tad early
