Scone Game Fair

Recommended Posts

I just checked out Scone game fair WWW.scottishfair.com the price has went up to £20 a head making it one of the most expensive fairs out there but there's no mention of a terrier show or lurcher show , surely without these its just a country craft fayre ?.

Ment to add i emailed them to ask why theres no a terrier or lurcher show but im no holding my breath for a reply

Although I moan about the cost what do you really get for £20 nowadays...f**k all. So getting into a venue all day with lots of decent stalls, food and stuff to watch is probably not to bad.

I'll be there again on the sat.....great day out when the sun is shining down..??

Gotta laugh people winge to get into a game fair all day £20 quid and people will pay £80 to watch 90 mins of football ffs

I wouldn't pay a £1 to watch any game of football to many arguments in that daft game for me.

Sent me a reply that they have terrier racing that everybody can enter

Sent back a reply how can a fair that you claim to be Scotlands biggest doesnt have a terrier / lurcher show ? is there a reason ? and with the prices being more expensive than most english fairs ?

Remember attending it one year 5 of us and 3 terriers in a Vauxhall Cavalier, end of the day on the Sunday my mate got a right good deal on a standing taxidermy fox, well what a f@cking journey back to Ayr, those 3 terriers bayed and screamed all the way home, never so glad to get out that motor

I attended the one at Drumlanrig a couple of year ago, was looking for a few balls of twine for net making, never seen 1 stall selling anything to do with ferreting, very little fishing equipment either, it was all food and crafts changed days, still it was a day out with the grandchildren and a couple of lurchers
