Low point this season was without doubt loosing my good bitch after a sticky dig that went on a lot longer than it should have, but that's a another story, she put in an 8 hour shift but it took its tol

Had some very enjoyable days in good company with the usual suspects. But the high for me would be two five foot digs one immediately after the other (one of which proved awkward), with my 11 year old

I can't believe what I'm reading. Most of us have land we hunt that we fought hard for. I wouldn't be happy to see lads on it. But it's not my land so apart from tell land owner or farmer he had unwan

Foxdropper, I never had you down as a grass but at least you are upfront about it, its always lads that rely on a bit of shooting or terrier work that are up to this sort of trick, I think its a frustrated wannabe keeper thing, we have one around here grassed me and a lot of others and I noticed he's amongst your friends these days and seems to like your every post, anyone can give a reg to the police, I have always gone where I liked and so my number has been always been on the "hotlist" but they have to catch you red handed to do anything, everything else is hearsay and gossip from a grass looking to snivel around the shoot or keepers, I can't understand what would make anyone do it just to keep a bit of permission, its not like you're a paid keeper whose livlihood depends on it, is it worth the risk ??? I know some people you would not want to bump into in the dark around here, Karma normally evens things out in the end, WM

This place is full of dirt .one person trying to better the other while the wrong un loves winning. The genuine dogmen out there when a man was as good as his word too.other than that it's the usual bullshiters , dealers and snides who's voices will be heard. I don't know fk all about antis these days or filth but the must know all about everything everyone. I bet they don't even act the bollox like this and give out info on each other. Ffsake play the white man.

I can't believe what I'm reading. Most of us have land we hunt that we fought hard for. I wouldn't be happy to see lads on it. But it's not my land so apart from tell land owner or farmer he had unwanted guests. Just incase wire was broke gates damaged etc. What can ya do. But give police licence plates of fellow hunters?,you wouldn't get away with that over here and that is been straight about it

it reminds me of a dickhead that told mates of mine that if he caught me digging on my own permission in his area that he would report me im still waiting on gaurds to call after I stook something in the of his head

There's been occasions and I'm sure the majority of us have had them over the years that your on ground that you have permission to be on from the landowner, but all it takes it the guy that rents some of the ground off the landowner to be feeding his cattle on the rented ground when your present and kick up stink until everything is explained. It works both ways a man with stock on rented ground can ask you to sort a vermin issue towards his stock but the landowner may not be happy if he see's men with dogs on his ground! Then you have lads that just bomb about with dogs and go wherever they like. I'd two lads call at my door looking a lend of tools as they'd ran a fox to ground on a steep bank in an area I knew well. I asked where they had a dog to ground and they didn't want to say but said the area. Then I said you's have beat that bank and I named the lane and two fields over that's where you's are digging? Yes that's it. I said lads you'd know you's aren't allowed down there. Yes. I said I'd go with you's and help on the dig but no way under them circumstances you's are only asking for trouble. There's the tools wish you's all the best bring them back when you's are finished. They got 2 foxes out of the bank that day and farmer came down police rang and a load of shit upon them. Permission is a necessity, but just because you have permission it doesn't mean your the only one that has it to be on that ground. Simple as that. If you have to worry about meeting other lads on a permission then you must be getting it tight, maybe time to pack the bags and leave altogether.

As an FAC holder Rob ,I'm obliged to let the old bill know I'm out as am I obliged to inform them a safety issue arose .

Lads with no ticket won't understand that or how fragile the whole thing is.

Responsible dog lads don't wander where ever they like ,at least not here mate and I won't put up with it ,simple .

If this thread makes one lad think twice about running dogs from a motor then its saved them the embarrassment of spending the night in a cell with wife at home worrying .

Been a few on this giving the big one ,they'd do this you deserve that but when it comes to it, very few look for conflict as the tail lights speak for themselves .
