Accip74 7,112
No matter which boots you pick, my advice would be to clean and polish them often. It takes 10 minutes and really does make a difference to the life span of your boots. I can't believe it when lads spend £250 on boots then don't look after them and wonder why they drop to bits , it madness! I think its the most common factor in most said 'boot failure' 1 Quote Link to post

Who 179
Really don't understand why anyone would pay £200 for a pair of boots. I'm not tight but just don't see point when they going to get abused, there for walking only, not digging. I got them cold weather boots off net from some army surplus site £35 delivered. Ive had them on for 2 seasons digging. 9-10 hrs Monday to Friday working construction, at least an hours walking everyday mon-fri and shit loads of miles at weekends. Clean and polished every Saturday. They are still going strong and never let any water in Edited March 29, 2017 by Who Quote Link to post

dogmandont 9,814
For an out an out digging boot haix pro protector are hard to beat. A bit heavy if doing a lot of walking. For days like that I use the army cold weather boots of flea bay 70 quid brand new so good enough value. Quote Link to post
