Just looking at buying some new boots, just wondered whether anyone had any recommendations?

Depends how much you wanting to spend. If your looking at a budget I'd look at the British army cold weather boot. I've had my pair on everyday for nearly 2 year and they still bang on. If they are looked after they will last. Only complaint is they a bit heavy but you soon get used to it

lowa boots top notch i do a lot of hill walking and in them few times a week with the terriers

 

good dose of dubbing once a month and they last a good while

I don't mind spending the money as long as you get what you pay for. i was looking at the meindl or le chameau. But I will take a look at what you have suggested.

I'd personally avoid Le Chameau. Great for wellies crap for boots.

I have Meindl's at the minute and have no qualms about them.

Meindl Dover boots r by far the best Meindl boots I have had pricey but worth every penny

For digging I'd say Glockners. More hardy and built to last.

I got some puroforts last year, first wellies I've bought in years, they are good..........but digging in them?? You heathen!! Haha....
