Torquemada 288
Some friends of mine had a 13 week pup stolen in Barnham West Sussex on Thursday night. There is a £2000 reward no questions asked. They want him back. Anyone help??? Quote Link to post

Lab 10,979
Great news. Now who stole it and what's been done about it because we never get to hear this bit of it. Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
It's another example of the stupidity of thieves. The people concerned were having work done to the house and the day before the robbery they had a load of stuff delivered, tools and such, which was put in the garage. The thieves broke in through the garage roof, nicked all the stuff inside and managed to find a key to get into the house. There they took money, valuables, computers and the dog, as well as the car keys, and they took the car. The car was found close by burnt out the next day. The couple concerned made a massive effort to get the dog back, the rest of the stuff was insured, but the dog was special. They put up posters but it was FB that did the trick. The story of finding the dog got shared thousands of times, and guess what, two streets away a couple saw the ad on the FB site last night, rang the old bill as they could hear a dog barking next door and they didn't think they owned one, and reported that on the night of the theft there was a lot of coming and going. Police turned up and found the dog and all the other clobber they stole. The whole scummy family are now in the nick. Stupidly, if they hadn't taken the dog they would probably have gotten away with it... 6 Quote Link to post
