Guest Frank
How are you getting on with your whippet WeeJohn? Quote Link to post
weejohn 3
not too bad frank, as i said the dogs were house bound for 3 weeks and i gave her a run last week and her speed was very poor and was way behind the bunnies but i gave her a run on friday night. she spotted the rabbit in the light while it was squatting , i slipped her ,it got up , she turned it twice and then grabbed it so looks like she is coming back into condition so heres hoping. When your dog catches rabbits while lamping do they squeal because every rabbit she has caught has made such a bloody noise. Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
She is doing well by the sound of it WeeJohn . Normal for them to be a bit off after a lay off. Rabbits squal fairly often when cought on the lamp i find. Even when ferreting, they sometimes make noise, when they get cought in the net. I also find, foxes come bounding in to the noise of the bunnys, on a rugular basis. Quote Link to post
