Deker 3,478
hi bought myself a gamo .22 today secondhand mint con does anyone know of these air rifles paid £160 with new scopes There is lots of info on the web about Gamo. One thing to be careful about is the fact that a number of their guns fall a bit short of the 12ft lb mark. Gamo is Spanish and if you look closely you will find that a lot of Gamo and BSA look very similar these days, now...why could that be I wonder Deker Quote Link to post

mad al 146
We've a Gamo PT CO2 pistol that provides hours of fun for my family killing empty Strongbow cans on many a Saturday afternoon in the Summer Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
fall short...you may find them over the limit good cheap guns let down by a poor trigger Even Gamo list several of theirs to be below 12 and only rate some at full power. My lad has recently bought a (new) RSV and we are struggling to get 10ft lb out of it when it lists as Full Power (16j). You are either very lucky (or unlucky) to get over 12 out of one, tuning specialists such as Terry Robb will tell you 10ft lb is not bad for one of these. I put a thread up a month or two back asking how I could get my lads nearer 12 without breaking the bank, I'd be pleased to hear how/why you think the ones you have had experience of make it that high so I can tune my lads. Cheers Deker Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
ive shot several gamo magnums and the shadowmatic and all were 12ftlbs and very close to being dodgy. Quote Link to post
