Blackbriar 8,569
Watched half an hour of it earlier....... Heartstring-tugging short films presented by crying people, interspersed with the garbled ramblings of a collection of unfunny comedians...... I'm sure it does some good, but it's not for me. cragman 2,770
If half of those comedians gave a million each, we wouldn't need all this shit! Makes my piss boil!
Nik_B 3,790
Give you money to small charities where nearly all of the money will go to the cause. Big charities don't give a very big percent of the money they raise, do some research you will be shocked how little of the money gets through.

bird 9,936
we give to the black babies in primary school in the 60s...look how they repaid us.. it always happened coloured people staving, drought , etc , 1st thing they should do make them have birth control, it would stop, aids, and over populated country , to many mouths to feed , do this 1st, and if they show they will do this, then send out aid to them .But these people wont change attitude to there lives and will still keep knocking out ton's babys every week. ii was the same with starving black kids in 1960 as above, nothing changed now and it wont change in the next 60 years either. The one 8,482
Aye i wish it was as funny as most of these z rated comedians think they are and as said if they each donated a good sum that would take care of it . but when did geldof start this 1987 ? how long is it going to go on ? when there's more and more british folk going to food kitchens ? maybe if they got sent the value in condoms that would help ? why are they still having loads of kids after all these years of drought and famine ? Bob Geldof didn't start Comic Relief. They spend loads of what they raise on projects across the UK to help British people...
walshie 2,804
we give to the black babies in primary school in the 60s...look how they repaid us.. My mrs told me how they used to have "Penny for the black babies" when she was a kid. Didn't sound right to me, but it seems she wasn't making it up. Cheers. Charity begins at home. pesky1972 5,307
I'll donate to this.., and to Children in Need. Pretty much all charities have operating costs and the bigger the charity the bigger those costs are. I think that, if I'm in a position to financially, it's better to give something than nothing. Think that plenty people look for any reason not to put their hand in their pocket to help someone less fortunate. Lenny Henry hasn't been funny since Tiswas, but at least he's trying to help. jacknife 2,005
Never have donated never will.... Far to much money goes into running the charity To much money goes to foreign charities for my liking
The one 8,482
As kevin Bridges says time they had a concert for us , as said charity starts at home why are we pumping money abroad while there's homeless and food kitchen here ?
