Was it   Why don't you fuk off you scruffy ,lurcher owning oik ,we don't want to associate with your type Yours sincerely, Double barrel chinless twat .esq

I hunted these lands as a child and as a Student I then left the Country to follow my chosen career. In the Twighlight years of my life I returned to the UK for one of my Childrens professional stud

Unity has never been a strong point when it comes to hunting with dogs in general, the red coated horse back hunting enthusiasts, the footpack followers of hounds were & never likely are to unite wi

Not everyone that runs dogs are undesirables the Antis are against anything against the system I am for every part of hunting for all it is freedom of speach in our country well is is supposed to be but without a voice we won't be anywhere.

I know that buddy I run dogs meself and always polite more so when I'm in the wrong places,

the lIkes of the AWL never appealed to me simply cos they wanting too keep what we have currently ie limited vermin control with dog, where as say me I hunt other stuff so they not helping me at all and my involvement is not positive for them as I wont stop what I'm doing and they cant help me so why should I hand over money so a few can have a couple of meetings a year covered by everyones £5 and the odd jolly down to London again expenses paid? all to gain what? what you already have and is currently not under any pressure, I will save me fiver towards me fines ta, not some lot that sat for years saying nothing ntil there was a fresh influx of interest and money coming into the fray lol

another worrying factor was when the AWL etc idea came up on here, within days the old chairman of the older lurcher club rapidly appeared and wrestled control, so it ended up the same old same old taking charge and what you got for all the fivers collected? sweet FA a website that's less entertaining than this one getting ready to fight a cause that don't need fighting and which no one really in the bigger picture (on local or world level) really cares about at present , even the antis etc would have probems trying to gain further bans now,and they far better supported funded and organised so that's the AWL goosed they cant even meet the need sort the lads on here wishes out, the government etc simply have better more important things too attend too at present.

sometimes you shake trees and fruit falls down for you , other times you shake it and the tree falls down on you, sometimes if you not hungry its not worth the risk if you get my drift

show me somebody fighting for what I want then I ill consider joining that's my out look half measure like hunting rats and rabbits to benefit farmers and keepers who wont let me run a hare fox or deer but will allow shooters to blast them to death at will,

the start of any sensible appeal wants to establish why the ban really came into force? if its any other reason than stopping rare species being wiped out or needless cruelty then it needs looking into, cos the way it was sold was based on stopping cruelty, however we all know its a class thing

the three I outlined previously. We know that the "Groups cant be seen to endorse or support any illegal Activity or any Hunting outside those areas permitted under certain constraints within the said Act.

However that does not stop discussion and Lobbying of The Government,, Members of Parliament, the COHA AWL or any other representative working dog group from discussing and redressing many of the nomalies even within the present legislation.

(1) What are the intentions regarding Repeal or ammendments to the present legislation regarding Coursing a Hare with a Single dog where permission or authorisation to use the land can be obtained.from the Legally responsible parties

(2) Has there been any discussion between the COHA .and C/A the Fox hound packs and any other dogworking groups or associations regarding a unified campaign to repeal or ammend the ACT to permit fox and deer to be hunted by individuals with dogs as well as registered Hunts.

(3) Will the above groups agree to petitionTo permit Landowners /Farmers /Game keepers to allow all forms of hunting activities on lands under their control without persecution from the Police and LACS threats of fines and intimidation.

Personally I doubt any of these Groups or Association will discuss or answer any points that mayupset their own Agndas and self interests and preservation of the things they have they have picked up as crumbs from the Elites tables.

In the year they been around have they anything too show but a website? Any form of progress would be nice, they had the fivers, there's little mention on here of any meetings at club level or above club level representing their subscribers?

Or have they took first control and then the money and them realised not one of them got what it takes too move it all forward? Barring the website? I'm assuming g nothing been done cos nowt been said in here and I datesay at least 70% of the members come from or heard about it here, how many shows did they attend last year or intend too go too this year?

I wonder if the first step should be the controlling of hares with one dog - surly an easy argument to win?

All ways put the price high you can always come down difficult to go upwards

In any dealing with anything with the government start for more than you know you will get simple as that.

A question has any person ever tried to Contact the Council of Hunting Associations to see their Manifesto or their website ? It would be interesting to know what they do to represent those with Lurchers and sighthounds after All the AWL has a seat at the Council meetings.

Top posts fellas, that long post of Arctic's is exactly how i perceive things too..Protecting what we have is all well & good, trying to retrieve what we once had is a totally different ball game & like Arctic what i loved to hunt has all been vanquished so I'd pay a £100 a year or whatever it is if there was a group or whatever fighting for what i want ✌
