There is a roundabout bottom of our town gets planted with geraniums and other plants every year then they come along in Autumn an rip them all out bloody waste it is.
That's cause they'll be annuals , they die of and don't come back ..
Geraniums?

Yep bedding plant geraniums are annuals , you can get perrenial geraniums as well but they look totally different and not as showy

yea...them fancy priced eating houses colour the salads up using the petals,prob just stick there hand out the windie and grab a few outta the window box.lol...and dont charge ya for the cats pish on em. :whistling:

The problem with bought baskets is they stick any plant in there it does not matter to them, but Pelargoniums (what most people call Geraniums) need very little water as they are a Mediterranean plant, will not thrive with lets say a Fusia in the same basket as they have different watering needs.Fusias are very thirsty and need watering every day where the Pelargoniums would do well on once a week.

 

A lot of people ignore the watering needs of the plants when making up baskets, group them to their needs and you will have a far better show.
