Yep. Warning shots are a no no BTW. The fact that the officer was being beaten and ultimately died from the injuries sustained in this encounter begs the question as to why no one opened fire on his assailants. They're justified in lethal force to save the life of another and this ticks all the boxes. If no one was there as his backup then it begs the next question of why? Yet he hasn't contacted the fallen officer's family nor ordered the capitol's flags at half mast, as is tradition in these circumstances. The refusal to return fire would make sense with the amount of people milling around. Hitting innocent bystanders is another no no.
