Had A Walk

Recommended Posts

Nice write up Jigsaw.

I was in a yard a few years back at the start of July in the North and could see a load of skinned goats ready for feeding his dogs, he had about 50 bulldogs, and I asked were they goats ?

He said of course they were.

It never dawned on me that the 12th was coming up and all these goats had lost their hides for covering the big LAMBEGS.

Miss these goat hunting threads Jig, nice to see one again!

You ever tried field butchering it and pack it out? Got to be easier than dragging over that country.

I am always determined to get the hell out of the place once im successful,I suppose if I did bring a bag with gear to butcher it might be handy but I reckon carrying too much crap is another issue..I find it bloody aqward enough trying to manage the gun ,camera and other bits and pieces.i am going to try find a sling that carries the gun comfortably.the over the shoulder method is not working well, between the barrel hitting the branches as I duck down under and the magazine digging into my back while i maneuver about the ledges isnt helping at all lol
