ince i gave up breeding birds of prey, ive been setting all new cameras up at all different angles covering my house all way around,im starting to watch this camera system more and more its got alarms that trigger any one crossing certain bounderies and tapes 24 7 on the hard drive ,the wife says im getting obbsessed with it but its amazing some of the things you see especially at night, last night i saw a cat getting chased up the street by mr fox, well i like it anyway and its good security

I have cctv in my yard just to watch the wildlife that comes in,my wife checks it every day as she feeds the fox,s and then watches them the following morning I also have a ragged Tom cat that comes in to hunt rats and mice around the bird feeders, he will even go up and take food when the fox is around and shows no fear if anything the fox gives the cat a wide birth, I fitted it because I got fed up of the misses taking my trail cameras to watch them, plus it keeps the thief,s out the yard, like you say it can become quite addictive,

I work beside a guy who has the same set up.He gets alerts to his phone when someone passes his

house

He said to me few weeks back. "Hey you passed my house 4 times other day".. aye i was walking my dog and im pretty sure you shouldnt have you're camera pointed outwith you're boundary onto a public path. It doesn't bother me, but you better watch some parents might have some concern over that i told him. He wasn't best pleased lol

There's no law currently against it, as long as the camera is mounted within you property. Local councils do it all the time.

This link explains it : http://www.protectingyourself.co.uk/security-cameras-and-the-law.html

as above as long as it mounted on your property its safe, most on out street have them so its a good thing,i first got them for my birds of prey as i could watch them in the breeding season and watch for eggs and when the young arrived without disturbing the birds

Yea it's mounted on the Eave of his house covers his garden and the path outside his gate.

Id have thought you wouldn't have been allowed to cover public areas. Well you learn something new everyday.

Btw didnt mean anything by it jjm lo
