si brown 8,486
this is just because of the hw quality issues, I'm not saying ones better.. but is the british is just as bad!! my mates has had a prosport for about 4 months now and to say i wasn't to impressed when he first got it was an understatement !! my mates not one for fettling stuff but he knows I'm always at it... so after us having a swap round a couple of weeks ago he passed it over to me and said can you sort it!! the first stage of the trigger sticks and docent release when cocked and theres no real second stage a fart would set it off!! the cocking mech sounds like its been used in a desert.... the twang was fcuking shocking!!! best of british!! i think not and the photos coming up will verify this ready for dissection fist impression.. its blathered on grease, it docent look as bad in pic second the piston is bone dry and the p rings are rough as the threading on the transfer port housing is off and this has resulted in this the buttons on the opposite side are non existent!! now this has not gone unnoticed because there are obvious tool marks but its been sent out! and yeah there was swarf floating about! so i did my bits and bats and put it back together, its way smoother now but the power is a 1 lb down on pre strip due to the compression tube now being centre and needing new t/p o rings cos the old ones are all splattered all sortable but this is supposed to be the british bench mark!!! wtf atb si 5 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,823
If i did not know better i would of say,d its not new looks like a second hand rifle that they have sold as new or could be its stood in the factory to long and in the rfd,s to long and the grease has dry,d up hence the damage to the piston and the internals it seems all the manufactures are going through this quality control badness But then again in my opinion I DO THINK ITS A SECOND HAND RIFLE THAT HAS BEEN SOLD AS NEW ILL GET THAT SENT OFF TOMORROW MORNING FIRST THING SI atvbjimmy  2 Quote Link to post
