Lol I was years ago for poaching but now I get invites from north to south, some I've put on here some I have not. They know me and I know them so they Know I will not go back.

I don't really see the problem in it .trev and tomo aren't mates .trev says he bin walking that land for years , I no if someone came up to me or messaged me and told me to stay of some land cuz it was theirs I wouldn't give a toss .there not my mates or not like going back on an invite ....100s of people out there walking land every night without permission

 

I no couple lads who lamp up leyburn way none them have permission .if I messaged them and told them stay away because some lads on thl have permission on there they'd tell me get f****d and I don't blame them .

I have a similar scenario here where I have permission to shoot with the rifle, I take deer fox and most other things that fall in to the sights.

Now one of the lads from a nearby village who I knew of well before I got this permission, also goes on the same land to run his long dogs and the occasional scratch with the terriers, but he does not have permission off the land owner. What happens if we bump into each other? Nothing, we have a quick chat, i.e. have you seen anything, hows the dogs running etc, then we go our own way and get on with our own things, granted if I am shooting he leaves, not through any other reason than that, he does not want his dogs running around with somebody shooting on there.

 

Do I have a problem with this? No, if the landowner does then that's his problem to sort not mine, I am not his security nor his informer. Crack on with what you're enjoying and do best, worry about yourself and your dogs and pastime not somebody else's.

 

Show me a deer rabbit hare or fox with somebody else's name on it and I will leave it be, until then if I see it first, it's mine.

yeh of course theres feck all we can do about lads poaching our bit of land,,it happens,,and proberbly always will....and your right trev ows us f**k all,,,he dont know us,,,hes not our mate ect......

 

the difrence here is,,,trev has a good chunk of permision that joins our land,,,hes our naighbour,,of sorts,,,,so you would think him knowing its ours he would leave it alone ,,,as we do his bit,,,,

I guess we all see different scenarios in different ways Tomo, I do for sure. I know I have had tongue in cheek comments regarding the issues surrounding this topic, but the sooner it's put to bed the better. This game is hard enough without falling out with others who have the same interests.

Tomo I hold my hands up I thought you was trying it on about you having permission on that land after being told wrong information about you poaching all over that area, like said I don't know you but after all this guess you must have it, I have said from the start of this I will keep off the land which I will stick to, you and vin do what you have to do but I cant see what more I can say than that.

yep i get that,,,,,

 

but when your on this good bit of permision,,,do you go on to the naighbouring land...?.

 

like i keep saying,,,you will never stop lads that are poaching and dont have permision,,,,,the difrence in this case is trev does,,,like us,,hes decided to go down the streight route as it were,,,,same as us,,,,to old to be running off and looking over your shoulder,,,,,as naighbours,,its best to get along,,,hence our pms to each other last year,,,
