Jonjon79 13,358 Posted March 15, 2017 Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 That's going to come up really nice with that dark streak running through it It is Jon this stock had years of worn out marks on her and the lacquer was on thick really thick i think its been done before at some point as there was a lot of scratches under the lacquer which ill get out with the smoothing out process atvbjimmy It looked like it had been used to play cricket Rob, what the feck had you been doing with it? ...... bigmac 97kt 13,795 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Report Share Posted March 15, 2017 Some one at some point has over tightened the stock screw and cracked the stock from inside so this will be sanded back and filled with gorilla glue to strengthen it no cracks on the out side mind . just started to smooth her off now the dark patches are where she is still wet off the wet and dry soon be ready for her first coat of stain atvbjimmy :thumbs: Quote Link to post
